Promise of a new Day

Of course, fortune has its part in human affairs, but conduct is really much more important. —Jeanne Detourbey—

Our behavior in small, mean situations is ultimately as grave in its impact on the whole of human relationships as a major action taken in response to a large- scale crisis. No action or expressed attitude is void of effect. Though it may go unobserved at the time, it will be felt and it will influence another’s

response at another time. Our influence on others, on immediate situations, on the future, is profound. When we accept responsibility for all of our actions, as well as our attitudes, our choices will reflect a widened perspective. The power inherent in even the barely perceptible thought is awesome.
My conduct toward others, my unspoken thoughts and unexpressed attitudes will have their effect. my impact today can be positive.
