STEPPING STONES

This is not a place where you can just come and sit back and do nothing.
These people work just as hard as you to do help you get your life on
the right track. Within two weeks of coming here, I got a job and all of
my identification. They also provided me with vouchers for work clothes
and bus cards to I can get to and from work. And just recently I
started a new job making more money! Now just like any place that’s
official, this place has rules you must follow. But let’s be honest: it
can’t be half as bad as that mess we were in when we were on the
streets. So don’t let a couple of rules stop you from truly having a
real chance to get your life on the right track. Take a lesson from me:
this is the happiest I’ve been in years.

This Site Is New And Growing. More Content, Things To See, And Hope To Offer, Will Come.

For Us, It Is A Result Of The Promises, We Are Grateful.

The Promises Click Me

If we are painstaking about this phase of our development, we will be amazed before we are half way through. We are going to know a new freedom and a new happiness. We will not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it. We will comprehend the word serenity and we will know peace. No matter how far down the scale we have gone, we will see how our experience can benefit others. That feeling of uselessness and self pity will disappear. We will lose interest in selfish things and gain interest in our fellows. Self-seeking will slip away. Our whole attitude and outlook upon life will change. Fear of people and of economic insecurity will leave us. We will intuitively know how to handle situations which used to baffle us. We will suddenly realize that God is doing for us what we could not do for ourselves.
Are these extravagant promises? We think not. They are being fulfilled among us—sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly. They will always materialize if we work for them.
